PURPOSE:  To gather images for entry into the PSA Council Challenge  

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. Any NWCCC club in good standing
2. Each club may enter a maximum  of 10 images in each category – no minimum
3. There may not be more than one image by the same photographer. Exception if your club has less than 10 members, then a maximum of 2 images per photographer.
4. Images entered in previous PSA Council Challenge are not eligible
5. Each club determines its own selection process
6. Each image must be titled and numbered to match the entry form.
7. Digital files (jpeg) must be no wider than 1024 pixels horizontally and no taller than 768 pixels vertically, and each file size must be less than 800kb.
8. Write the name of your club with a felt marker on your DVD/CD
9. Digital images may be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to the Director or burned to a CD/DVD and mailed to the Director's address which is: 34299 Pilot Point Road NE, Eglon, WA 98346. Each club will be assigned a unique identification number to be used for all club competitions. 
10. Each club will be sent a confirmation that your entry was received. (via email)
11. A completed entry form must accompany your entry.
12. Not complying to the conditions of entry might constitute your entry as invalid.
13. For fairness, individuals may enter only through one club if a member of multiple clubs.
14. All the submitted images will be sent to each club - minus their entries - for judging on a disc. Final scores should be emailed back to the director NLT 26 May 13.

NOTE: Adjustments shall be limited to minimal clean-up (for e.g. noise reduction, dust removal, levels, curves, contrast, sharpening, cropping.)

JUDGING AND SCORING 

Each club that submits an entry is allowed to judge and score the images.

The ‘judging ‘clubs images will not be on the CD/DVD.

Each section is judged.

Recommend using 3 judges using the scoring system 0 –Maximum total is 27.

In case of ties – judges can adjust scores.

The top scoring 10 images will be entered into the PSA Council Challenge

Top 3 ranking clubs will have their entries shown at the at the NWCCC Conference – November 10, 2012

INDEMNITY

Neither NWCCC nor its volunteers shall be held responsible for failure of receipt, loss, or damage of any images, regardless of method of submission, entered into any competition.

CONSENT AND COPYRIGHT

The entrant must be the sole author of the copyright.  By entering your images into the competition, you grant to NWCCC the right to use your images for promotions and/or posting on the NWCCC web site.  The photographer will be credited whenever possible.  The ownership of the image will remain the photographers.
